University of Pittsburgh
At Alpha Delta Pi, we are a sisterhood of friends, a family of individuals, and a home away from home. We embrace every woman's uniqueness, we encourage and support each other's goals and dreams, and we value character above all else. Founded in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society for women.
Welcome to the website for Alpha Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi! We are so excited to have you on our page, and we hope you can get a feel for our amazing sisterhood featured here. Our goal is to highlight the special role ADPi plays in the lives of each of our women during their time at the University of Pittsburgh. From a way to make friends, to getting involved in the community, to a launch pad for emerging leaders, Pitt ADPi serves as a place for young women to connect with others and create lasting bonds.
Beyond the images curated here, we also want to emphasize that it isn’t always about the photo-ops- our sorority aims to create an accepting community for the growth of each of our members. Our sisters serve at charities across Pittsburgh, study in majors across all academic schools, and succeed through a variety of extracurriculars and jobs. Bringing such similarly motivated and caring women together is what makes Pitt ADPi truly special, and we can’t wait for you to discover it all!
Love & Loyally,
Alpha Iota of Alpha Delta Pi
